Shops, boutiques, cafes, live music and entertainment. My favourite place to eat in all of Orlando is Fulton’s Crab House (an enormous ship permanently at port with multiple levels of seafood extravagance). But this is not outdone by the House of Blues, Wolfgang Puck’s cafe, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, the rainforest cafe, the Raglan Road pub, or any of the food trucks along the way. Click here for a complete list of dining delights.
The entertainment options are endless. You can watch La Nouba Cirque du Soleil, participate in a Kids DJ Dance party, catch street performers around every bend, or take in a movie at the gigantic AMC theatre. We watched Zootopia after dinner one evening, and it was one of the highlights of the trip!

For those of us who like to shop till we drop (I don’t), there’s anything from Disney stuffies and pins to jewellery and chapel hats. There’s a Harley Davidson store, and a Star-Wars Galactic Outpost. There’s even a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. And where we always stop, guaranteed (and usually buy at list one thing!) is the always-crowded lego store that features lego-car racing. For a complete list of what you can spend your hard-earned money on, check this out.

A highlight of Disney Springs for my kids is when the Rainforest Cafe volcano erupts, shooting hot flames out the top. One of my favourite things to do is take the ferry over to Disney’s Old Key West Resort. The ferry is free, and it’s a lovely 10 minute retreat to grab a sandwich and a beer before heading back to catch the Disney Spring’s night scene.
This blog is more of a quick-snippet snapshot of all there is to see and do. The absolute best place to find out what is going on at Disney Springs is by going to disneysprings.com. But you can’t really appreciate the scope of the place until you park and walk from end to end. Put on your walking shoes (I’ve winced on behalf of those who suffer from vanity here), and take in the feel of Disney outside of the parks! We get there at least 3 times every time we come to Florida. You’ll love it too.
wE ARE WONDERING HOW LEGE LAND WAS. DID YOU BUILD A CAR TO RACE. BEN WANTS TO KNOW IF YOU GOT A TOY?
WE MISS YOU.
It was the Lego store at Disney Springs (Lego Land is a park with rides under Orlando). I built a bunch of different cars—a. different car every time I raced. I won one time! Every year I get to pick one special gift. This year I got to pick two things because they were both small: my blob thing from the Ron Jon Surf Shop, and a Lego kit of three Lego dudes that I got to build from a huge bin of pieces! Each Lego person got a head, hair/hat, a top body, a lower body and one accessory. I got to pick each of these parts to build three of my own Lego people. The cool accessories I chose were: a chainsaw, a letter (the kind you write), and a magnifying glass. I will bring in my kit to show you when I’m back!
