Stop #2 was Cocoa Beach on the east coast of Florida. Cocoa Beach is just south of Cape Canaveral, where the United States launches rockets into space! We got up our first morning there and it was cloudy but we went to the beach first thing anyway. We were the only people on the beach for the first half hour, which was really neat because it was warm even though it was cloudy. We splashed in the water (which was cold!) and made an aquaduct from where my brother had built a sandcastle down to the waves. My mom took a picture of it (below). The shells were okay, but not very fancy. The sun came out and in no time the beach was swarmed with thousands of people!

Hello Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Roundsky and all of our friends back home! We hope you like our Florida blog. We are going to post new pictures and blog posts often, so please leave as many comments as you like and check back soon!
Buses were cancelled yesterday! I can’t wait to show this to your friends, Evie.
By the way… Happy Happiness Day!
Hi Mrs. Roundsky! (this is from Evie) I miss you a lot. I drew you a picture. We are going to add my picture to our photo gallery today. We went to Disney and we’re going to post some pictures of that today too. This morning we saw hot air balloons right outside our window – one was really close! Happy Happiness Day! Evie.
Hi Guys!
You look like you are having loads of fun! Although Grey looks very concerned about his aquaduct project. Sorry to hear that the shells were not too pretty, keep looking.
This blog was a great idea I know where to go for help when I start my classroom blog 🙂
I look forward to reading about your escapades!
Love Auntie Karen and Uncle Barry.

What a wonderful idea as a way to keep in touch! Although I do have to admit I’m a little jealous of all that sunshine and those bare feet in and sand. Everyone looks so happy and healthy! Have an amazing time!
xoxo
