I wasn’t thrilled about the winter theme of Disney’s Winter Summerland Mini Golf. But it was hot and sunny so I ignored all of the Christmas ornaments and painted ice and snow. We had an afternoon of fun…

Oh, Evie… Looks like you are doing a lot of ‘goofin’ around!
Wow, I know I shouldn’t be complaining after being back in snow land for about 6 hours, but I really miss the Florida sun. Thanks for the good times, sorry so short. Disney looks like a ton of fun. Lets talk about renting at Reunion next year at same time. Then we can pool jump all day long. Keep on sunning as long as you can.
Sounds like a great plan! Of course, we usually do Naples every other year if we can find something on the Gulf! As for your back-to-the-cold slump, I know that pain. It accompanies that back-to-reality feeling. And the I-need-to-do-my-taxes weight. And also the were-my-baseboards-always-this-dusty? question. And, with me, usually, the well-that-plant-is-probably-dead head hang. And then comes the I-need-to-do-a-massive-grocery-shop furrow. And the on-go-the-humidifiers-again frown.
But then a crocus pops up through the snow and you get that everything-is-going-to-get-green warmth going on. 🙂

Wow! Things sound hot, sunny and funfilled in Florida! There is some fun here in Ontario….and some sun but absolutely no warmth what so ever. But I am not allowed to complain because as you know I had a 9 day break in the very hot sunny south. I look at my pictures often to remind myself of this fact. When is the exact date of return to the chilly north for the tanned Keenan’s!?
We are heading back March 31. But today, frosty beverages on the balcony in the sun after a BIG day at Magic Kingdom…

Good morning, Evie. Guess what…it’s raining! I wrote a song today for the rain. Your friends want me to send it to you. This is how it starts… Do you wanna watch the snow melt? the rain will wash it all away. I know that spring is overdue…
Your friends are all wondering “When will Evie be back?!?”
That can be the next line in your song! 🙂 Mom says that we are leaving on Monday. It will take us two full days to get home. Depending on when we get in I might be to school on Wednesday!
